Configuring MJC Integration

The Micronet Job Costing ledger is the only subsidiary ledger within the Micronet Advantage Suite that uses its own integration processes. You don't need to configure MJC integration; this is done automatically when you configure the MDS integration with the General Ledger. However, MJC does use its own set of GL interface records which are attached to the department records setup in the Department master file in MJC.

To setup MJC integration:

  1. In MJC, setup the GL interface records.

If you only require simple reporting without the need for multiple dissection, you can setup a single generic table called TOTAL. However, if multiple dissections are required (in the case of multiple departments), you need to setup GL interface records corresponding to each department.

You setup GL interface records using the GL Interface master file in MJC.

Refer to "File - GL Interface".

  1. For each department setup in the Department master file in MJC, enter the name of the appropriate GL interface record in the General Ledger field.

Refer to "File - Department".
